Join us for the first class in our ongoing beginner knitting series. This class is perfect for anyone with little or no knitting experience who wants to learn the foundational skills of this timeless craft.
During class you’ll learn essential techniques to get started, and begin a simple project such as a coaster, potholder, or cotton washcloth. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a finished (or nearly finished) piece and the confidence to keep knitting on your own.
Our knitting classes are designed to be both instructional and social. The first hour focuses on learning core skills and techniques, while the second hour offers relaxed time to practice, ask questions, and knit alongside others.
This class also serves as a launching pad for our ongoing knitting series, where we’ll continue building skills and exploring new stitches and projects together week by week.
All materials are provided and included in the class fee.

Grocery Tote Sewing Class | May 19th, 2026
Learn to work confidently with a sewing pattern while creating a practical, reusable grocery tote you’ll reach for every day. These bags make wonderful gifts—so plan to sew one for yourself and a few for friends—and say goodbye to single-use plastic bags for good.
The tote is thoughtfully designed to fold down compactly, making it easy to tuck into a purse or carryall. Over the course of this two-hour class, we’ll cover sewing machine and fabric terminology, and build essential sewing skills, including cutting fabric safely with a rotary cutter, sewing with a consistent seam allowance, constructing boxed corners for shape, and finishing seams for durability and a polished look.
This class is designed for beginners, and no prior sewing experience is required. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines so you can ask questions specific to your equipment and gain confidence using it. If bringing a machine isn’t possible, you’re welcome to use one of ours. The class materials list is below. Students will receive 15% off materials purchased for class or bring your own!

Summer Sewing Workshop | June 30th, 2026
Join us for a fun, hands-on morning of sewing and crafting in our cozy, light-filled North Boulder studio. In this workshop, kids ages 8 and up will choose from a variety of projects such as a tank top, pajama shorts, zippered pouch and lined tote bag with pockets—and bring their own unique creations to life. As they sew, they’ll explore the tactile world of textiles, building confidence and fine-tuning their skills along the way.
This workshop is designed for all skill levels, so whether your child is just starting or already loves to sew, they’ll leave with a new sense of accomplishment—and a finished project to show off! All materials are provided. Ages 9 & up.

Dopp Kit Travel Bag Class | May 24th, 2026
Get started on your holiday gift making - Dopp Kits are excellent presents. Join us for our Dopp Kit Sewing Class and learn to create your own custom, stylish, and functional Dopp kit—a versatile, zippered bag perfect for toiletries and travel essentials. This workshop is ideal for intermediate sewists or adventurous beginners with some experience.
Throughout the class, you’ll develop essential skills, including working with zippers, finishing seams, and adding lining and interfacing, ensuring your Dopp kit is both durable and professional-looking. We’ll also incorporate leather tabs with rivets on either end, adding both functionality and a polished finish.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a completed Dopp kit, written instructions, and the skills to create more at home. These kits make wonderful, personalized gifts! We have all of the materials available for purchase including waxed canvas, sturdy metal zippers, leather for tabs, and metal rivets or feel free to bring your own materials.

Fabricate Summer Camps | Week of June 15th – 19th, 2026
These full-day camps are intentionally small and thoughtfully designed to give kids a truly immersive creative experience. With just four participants per week, campers receive plenty of individual attention while building real skills and confidence.
Mornings are spent behind our sewing machines, digging deep into technique and design. Afternoons slow down and open up — knitting, embroidery, and hand sewing often happen poolside at a nearby private pool, hiking in the hills behind the studio, or even tending the garden. Fresh air, movement, and creativity are all part of the rhythm of the day.
Each week is tailored to the interests and experience level of the group, making every camp unique. Picnic lunches round out our hands-on, unplugged days. All materials are included in the price. 9am - 4pm. Ages 9 and up.
