Waffle Weave Toweling | Bleached White

Waffle Weave Toweling | Bleached White

Richly textured by the ingenious method of using threads that are woven to make the outside of the squares lift-up and threads used to weave the inside of the squares are drop-down. The fabric arrives flat but once it’s washed the cloth will shrink to achieve the dimensional waffle surface.

A bleached color is achieved by stripping the natural pigment out of the fibers. What you are left with is a very soft shade that is a beautiful, slightly off-white color that is also a perfect cloth for dying. Waffle weave cloth is excellent for any kind of towels, scarves, wraps, robes, pajamas or any lounge wear, pillows, and throws.

The approximate shrinkage based on a warm wash and low heat dry is 17% of the width (weft of the fabric) and 28% on the length (warp of the fabric). The fabric arrives flat and with a subtle basket-like weave. Two yards of fabric makes two large bath towels and two wash cloths. One yard makes two scarves.
