Tamarack Jacket – 3 Part Virtual Class Tuesdays in November
November 10 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm MST
An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until November 24, 2020
Michelle and Marlene will again tag-team in the latest of our virtual class offerings. Learn to set-in sleeves, make bias binding, and quilt a garment in our Tamarack Jacket class – all in the comfort of your own home. We use the classic quilted jacket pattern from Grainline Studios. The pattern offers lots of options including cotton or wool batting or pre-quilted fabric, patch pocket placement, length and sizing, and quilting variations. We promise you’re not going to want to take this cozy jacket off! It can be worn as a wrap, a robe, top layer, or overcoat.
This is an intermediate-level sewing class.
The series will be held on Tuesdays in November, the 10th, 17th, and 24th from 4-6 pm. We’ll guide you through the process of sewing a Tamarack from fabric choice and cutting to finishing seams and sewing on binding. There will be lots of opportunities for questions and demonstrations. When you register for this class you will be sent a Zoom invitation and you’re welcome to come to Fabricate for help with fabric and sizing options. There will be six hours of instruction with homework in between classes.
