One Hundred Acts of Sewing, Dress No 1 Class
March 1 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm MST$65
Perfect for summer, Dress No. 1 is a sleeveless dress that is extremely wearable with a flattering A-line silhouette. The neck and armholes are finished with bias tape facing and top-stitched patch pockets add both flair and utility.
Choose to bring your sewing machine or use ours. If you bring your machine to class, we expect that you have a working knowledge of how to use it and that you arrive a little early to set it up. Ages 12 and up are welcome for this class, some sewing experience is necessary.
- 100 Acts of Sewing Dress No. 1 Sewing Pattern
- The pattern calls for 2 – 2.75 yards of cotton, linen, double gauze or other natural fiber blends of woven fabric (no jersey or knits), depending on pattern and size*
- Fabric for patch pockets (9 X 12 inches remnant fabric will work)
- Bias tape maker (we’ll make it in class!) or double fold bias tape
- Matching thread
*As with all garment sewing, we recommend you pre-wash and dry your fabric before cutting. By registering for this class we assume you have read and agree to our class policies.
