Fringed Napkins Class

December 2 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Learn to sew lovely fringed napkins using prairie cloth, linen, or a linen-cotton blend fabric. Prairie cloth is a fabric similar to linen but is a bit heavier and more absorbent and has the added advantage of being wrinkle resistant! Students will finish a set of four napkins in class. Fringed napkins make fantastic gifts as you can choose to make them in various sizes from cocktail to formal dinner size. Some familiarity with sewing on a sewing machine is helpful but this is a beginner class.

  • 1-yard prairie cloth, linen or linen-cotton blend makes a set of 4 dinner napkins (18 X 18) and 4 cocktail napkins, or choose to make four 20 X 20-inch dinner napkins.
  • Coordinating thread
  • Contrasting thread, we’ll have some for you to use choose from but if you have a particular color in mind you may want to bring or purchase that
