Beginning Pattern Drafting – Circle Skirt
March 28 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm$85
In this introduction to pattern drafting class, students will learn basic drafting skills and will make both a skirt pattern as well as a skirt, sized to your exact measurements. Students will choose between making a mid-length half circle or full circle skirt. We will learn to draft a pattern, sew a lapped zipper with a simple waistband, and how to hem a circular hem. This is an intermediate sewing class; students must have some previous sewing experience.
This is a two-part class; the second class will be Friday, March 29th from 9:30 – 12:30. Students can choose to bring your own sewing machine or use ours. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early if you bring your own machine to allow time to set it up.
