100 Acts of Sewing Shirt No. 1
February 15 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm MST$55
Shirt No. 1 is the perfect garment for beginner sewers. It’s a simple top with short sleeves that’s great as a stand-alone or layering piece. The neckline is finished with bias tape facing. We’ll walk you through each step, from tracing and cutting the pattern pieces, to making and sewing bias tape.
Choose to use our sewing machines or bring your own. Students should have taken either our Learn to Sew or Sewing Machine Basics class or have equivalent experience.
Materials: all available at Fabricate at a 15% discount when you take the class. Recommended fabrics include lightweight cotton lawn or voile, linen, double gauze or natural fiber blend woven fabric (no jersey or knits).
